The Music Man was established in 1990 by professional violinist and musician, Hristo Kardjiev. Currently, he is the Concertmaster (Leader) of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and is also a highly acclaimed violin soloist.
We have performed for hundreds of weddings, important business people and companies, ministers, diplomats, the Rothmans July, the NAM and CHOGM conferences, including President Nelson Mandela, F.W. de Klerk and Thabo Mbeki, The Zulu King Zwelithini, HM Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles of Wales including numerous other dignitaries.

We play a variety of light popular classical music, including music from movies, ballets, musicals, operas, jazz, shows, operettas, Viennese waltzes, tangos and country music.
